Senaru
Activities

Here are our recommendations for what to do after your trekking trip in the Senaru area.

Sendang Gile &
Tiu Kelep Waterfall

Situated in the heart of Senaru, Sendang Gile is a magnificent waterfall that captures the beauty of Lombok island. Take a trip down to experience nature at its finest. You will be getting your steps in and you may even see some monkeys along the way!

Why not stop by after and visit Tiu Kelep Waterfall, just a short walk away, where you can buy some snacks and refreshments before heading back up.

We recommend this as a ‘must-do’ in Lombok.

Activity Time: 3 hours

Coffee Plantation

Take a long leisurely walk or some transport, whichever you prefer, to see where the famous and delicious coffee of Lombok is grown. See some spectacular views of Senaru’s jungle, waterfall included, while you are there. Enjoy the natural and peaceful sounds of the jungle from the lookout. You could almost hear a pin drop!

We recommend this activity after your Rinjani trek, as it is very calming for the mind and easy on the body.

Activity Time: 1 hours

Senaru Traditional Village- Masjid adat bayan

The Traditional Village is where the first known mosque on Lombok is located. This is a sacred place for the people of Senaru, built between 400-500 years ago, it holds special importance. Traditional ceremonies are still carried out here to this day. Enjoy the beauty of the surrounding Banut trees and this sacred mosque, built from

Bamboo! You can make a donation to help preserve this area. You are required to wear a sarung and other clothing that is suitable for this activity. We recommend this activity as you can learn about the history and culture of the Sasak people (people of Lombok).

Activity Time: 1 hours

Gili Trawangan Activities

The largest of the three Gili Islands, Trawangan is just a 20 minute ferry from Bangsal harbour in Lombok. Enjoy the majestic beauty and indulge yourself in island life. From sunrise to sunset, use your time as you please. Whether that involves a snorkelling trip with turtles, going for a morning surf, sunset dinner or a well needed beach day. You can do as little or as much as you want. Seeing as there are no cars on this island, only horsecart and e-scooters, you may choose to cycle around the island. Cycle around and see Gili Ts coastline in around 1 hour!

Things we recommend to do

Blue Paddle

There is something extra special about watching a sunrise on Gili Trawangan. From the east of the island, you can enjoy the picturesque view of the sun rising over Lombok. Simple yet Serene. If you want to get your workout in, at the same time, Blue Paddle offer a range of water activities. Fancy a sunrise kayak to the neighbouring island Gili Meno?

They’ve got you. They offer a range of packages, enjoy a group sunrise paddleboard and get your drone footage free!
